Bonjour! 안녕하세요!
Je m’appelle Vidya.. 제 이름은 비디아입니다
I am a travel addict, and a photography enthusiast. I find solace in painting and paintings. Shooting and archery are my ways to center my mind. My quiet times and not so quiet times are always accompanied by Paganini, Dvorak, Vivaldi, Esenvalds, and Bangtan Sonyeondan. Books I read mostly come from dead authors with few exceptions (Harry Potter, of course). As born and raised South East Asian, I am a “trylingual” (English is my second language, trapped in a love-hate relationship with French, and aspiring to sing karaoke in Korean). I am an introverted who aspire for serenity but strangely occasionally (often) found myself in situations where I am unintentionally stands out and need to be not so quiet in my line of work in corporate world. And, of course, above all, I am a follower of Christ Jesus.
dawn of her story was started as a place to record my journey to explore what it means to live an intentional and fruitful life, but during the ‘explore’ I discovered that my Christian faith had been heavily saturated with naturalism, humanism, universalism, self centered (egotistical self help, self affirmation, self love, you name it!) worldviews and teachings. Doubts and questions popped out and it made me realized how shaky the ground I’ve built my faith upon. So, I decided to unlearn everything I know about Christianity and start over to really know why I believe what I believe.
This is my journey of learning the truth in Christianity, doing life, and trying to find balance between self love without being self centered. One question at a time.
Maybe you’re on your own journey of reconstructing your faith or just a curious soul with lots of questions. Hope you'll find this site useful.
Be blessed!
